The Two-Paper Structure: A Quick-Reference Table

PaperSubjects CoveredTotal QuestionsTotal MarksDuration
Paper IGeneral Studies1002002 hours
Paper IISubject-Specific Knowledge & Teaching Methods1503002.5 hours

Paper I is heavily weighted on Rajasthan-specific knowledge (40 questions, 80 marks) and Educational Psychology (20 questions, 40 marks), together making up 60% of the paper’s questions.

Your Winning Strategy: Tips from an Analyst

Success requires a structured approach.

  • Study Plan: Use a phased approach. The first phase is for building a strong conceptual foundation, the second for in-depth revision and note-making, and the third for intensive practice with mock tests and previous year papers.
  • Recommended Books: For Rajasthan GK, consider local publishers like Sikhwal, Lakshya, Nath, and RBD Publication. For general knowledge,   Lucent’s is a good option , while   S.K. Mangal books are popular for Educational Psychology.
  • Mock Tests: Regularly solving mock tests is crucial for improving speed, accuracy, and time management, and for identifying and correcting weak areas.
